Tuolumne County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, are committed to our community’s need for comprehensive services in the areas of mental health counseling, alcohol and drug treatment and rehabilitation, education and prevention .
Promote the general welfare and better treatment of persons who are afflicted with brain disorders.
Counseling and case management is provided for children and their families. Some services are provided on site at schools and in clients’ homes. Tuolumne County Behavioral Health
A psychiatrist and a nurse address medication needs of children served by Tuolumne County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
To provide services to youth who have been placed in the County’s Emotionally Disturbed (ED) classrooms. Administered by Tuolumne County Behavioral Health.
To provide a group living setting, therapeutic milieu for chronically mentally ill individuals who require a structured living situation. To prepare them for independent living.
Substance abuse treatment for pregnant women and/or those with children. Transportation and childcare are provided for this service.
Behavioral health treatment and case management services for adults eighteen to sixty-five.

Drug Court, Dependency Court and all Court mandated programs. Access through the court system only. Hours: M-F 8-5 .....Emergency number 209-588-9528 for after hours.
Provide crisis intervention. Assess need for counseling. Assist with admission to psychiatric units. Provide additional community resources when indicated. (209)533-7000 for emergency calls.
